Description
Lamivudine (Epivir-HBV) is used for the treatment of hepatitis B infection. Lamivudine belongs to a class of drugs called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). It works by reducing the amount of HIV and hepatitis B virus in the blood.
