Streptavidin recombinant 95% min (r-SA) Cas 9013-20-1

Streptavidin recombinant 95% min (r-SA) Cas No. 9013-20-1. Streptavidin is a homotetrameric protein found in the culture broth of Streptomyces avidinii. Like avidin, one mole of streptavidin can bind 4 moles of biotin with a high affinity, which is almost unparalleled in nature.

Description: Streptavidin is a homotetrameric protein found in the culture broth of Streptomyces avidinii. Like avidin, one mole of streptavidin can bind 4 moles of biotin with a high affinity, which is almost unparalleled in nature. Streptavidin does not contain the carbohydrate side chains found in avidin and has an isoelectric point close to neutral. Therefore, it has a lower level of non-specific binding compared to avidin. Streptavidin is widely used in various biological fields, such as ELISA, IHC, TRFIA, quantitative PCR, single-stranded nucleotide isolation, biomolecule purification, and monoclonal antibody production. (The C-terminus of r-SA contains a His-Tag label)

Note:

1) After dissolving, place it in an ice bath and use it as soon as possible;

2) If you cannot use it all at once, please prepare the mother solution before use and divide it into small portions (ensure the amount for one test) and store it at -65°C, avoiding repeated freezing and thawing that affects protein activity.

3) Avoid using strong acids, alkalis, strong oxidizing agents, highly concentrated organic solvents, and other reagents that can easily cause protein denaturation;

4) This product is intended for scientific research purposes only.
