GKM2286 and GKM2289 are high-performance viscosity index improvers specifically designed for top-tier engine oils, including grades 0W-16, 0W-20, 0W-30, 0W-40, 5W-16, 5W-20, 5W-30, 5W-40, and 5W-50. They provide outstanding thickening efficiency while maintaining excellent shear stability and cost-effectiveness. GKM2289 is also suitable for thickening transmission and hydraulic fluids.
Both products offer a thickening effect (KV100) of 6.0 ± 0.5. Their shear stability is outstanding: after 30 cycles, shear loss is up to 3.0; after 90 cycles, shear loss is up to 5.0. These values ensure consistent viscosity retention under severe mechanical stress, prolonging engine life.

Applications:
Passenger car motor oils – 0W and 5W grades. Heavy-duty diesel engine oils – meeting CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 requirements. Automatic transmission fluids and manual transmission oils (with GKM2289). Hydraulic fluids (with GKM2289).
Recommended Treat Rates:
For engine oils, typically 0.5–2.0% depending on base oil and target viscosity. For transmission oils, use below 5%; for hydraulic oils, below 3%.

Storage and Handling:
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent moisture ingress. Shelf life: 24 months under recommended storage conditions.
