HOPG has properties close to crystalline graphite and is a new type of graphite. The heat treatment temperature is 3200–3600 °C.

Grades

Two grades are available: Grade A and Grade B

  • Grade A: 0.5±0.1°

  • Grade B: 0.8±0.2°

• Interlayer spacing (002): 3.355–3.359 Å

• Thermal conductivity:

  • 1400–1800 W/m·K (AB direction)

  • 8 W/m·K (C direction)

• CTE: 20 × 10⁻⁶/°C (C direction)

• Electrical resistivity: 3.5–4.5 × 10⁻⁵ Ω·cm (AB direction)
