Overview
Titanium heptoxide (Ti₄O₇) belongs to the Magnéli phase series of substoichiometric titanium oxides. It exhibits excellent electrical conductivity at room temperature – the best among the TiₙO₂ₙ₋₁ series – combined with high chemical stability and corrosion resistance. Its bulk density is typically 3.15–3.18 g/cm³ for the pure phase, while our product has a bulk density of 3.6–4.3 g/cm³, indicating a dense, well‑crystallized material.

Key Properties

  • Good room‑temperature conductivity (resistivity 200–600 µΩ·m) – comparable to graphite or some metals.

  • Outstanding chemical stability – resistant to acids, alkalis, and many corrosive media.

  • High corrosion resistance – ideal for harsh environments.

  • Fine particle size (≤50 µm) enables easy dispersion in coatings, composites, and electrode formulations.

  • High purity (≥95% Ti₄O₇) ensures consistent performance.

Applications

  • Electrode materials: Used in batteries, supercapacitors, and fuel cells due to its conductivity and stability.

  • Corrosion‑resistant coatings: Provides a conductive, protective layer for metallic substrates.

  • Electronic components: As a conductive filler in pastes and inks.

  • Catalysis: Support material for catalysts in electrochemical and chemical processes.

  • Advanced ceramics: Component in conductive ceramics and sensors.

Handling and Storage

  • Store in a dry, sealed container away from moisture and aggressive chemicals.

  • Handle with standard powder processing precautions (dust mask, gloves, safety goggles).

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to high humidity to prevent surface contamination.

Packaging
