Overview
GK MA‑80 is an efficient anionic surfactant based on sodium dihexyl sulfosuccinate. It provides rapid interfacial penetration, excellent wetting, emulsification, and solubilization properties, combined with outstanding electrolyte tolerance. The product is designed for applications where low foaming and high surface activity are required. It effectively reduces surface tension, enhances absorbency, and improves penetration into substrates.

Key Performance Features

  • Rapid wetting – quickly penetrates interfaces and lowers surface tension.

  • Excellent emulsifying and dispersing – stabilizes emulsions and dispersions of oils, pigments, and other insoluble materials.

  • Effective solubilization – increases solubility of hydrophobic compounds in aqueous systems.

  • Low foam – suitable for processes where excessive foaming is undesirable.

  • Electrolyte resistance – maintains performance in high‑salt environments.

  • Compatibility – works well with nonionic, anionic, and cationic surfactants.

Applications

  • Water‑based coatings, inks, and adhesives.

  • Agricultural formulations (wettable powders, suspension concentrates).

  • Emulsion polymerization – as a stabilizer and surfactant.

  • Cleaning and detergency – hard surface cleaners and industrial degreasers.

  • Textile processing – wetting agents for dyeing and finishing.

  • Enhanced oil recovery and other specialty chemical applications.

Recommended Usage
Typical dosage ranges from 0.1% to 5% of the formulation, depending on the required performance. Optimize through compatibility testing.
